Cinca vitrified porcelain ceramic mosaics can help green building projects
obtain LEED® certification.

Porcelain tile, with a potential 50+ year lifespan, is ideal for  projects with
extended life requirements. It is highly durable and ideal in heavy
commercial to residential sites where extreme slip resistance is required.

Manufactured from clay and minerals, abundant natural elements that do
not emit pollutants, it is non-toxic and can be installed with low VOC
(Volatile Organic Compounds) setting materials. As an inert and low
maintenance surfacing material, cleaning can be accomplished without the
use of harsh chemicals.

Properly maintained ceramic tile does not promote mold & mildew. Dust,
insects and allergens have no place to hide on the smooth impervious
surface and are easily vacuumed away.  Vitrified ceramic tile is
nonabsorbent and will not trap odorants or contaminants from other
materials, thus making it a perfect surfacing material for Indoor
Environmental Quality projects.

Use of Cinca vitrified porcelain mosaics may positively impact, directly and
indirectly, the achievement of the following LEED® credit points:
